Dr Carlomagno Cardenas-Nylander of the ICATME Hip Unit is invited to the “Vivantes Klinikum in Friedrichshain” of Berlin, Germany, to present the mini-invasive technique of periacetabular osteotomy.
Last Thursday, August 24, Dr. Cardenas presented his experience in the treatment of hip dysplasia through the mini-invasive periacetabular osteotomy (OPA) at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Vivantes Klinikum in Friedrichshain. company of Dr. Alexander Moser, performed the first surgery with variation of the transartoric technique in a patient.
Dr Cardenas, who operates regularly at the Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona, has performed this technique in other centers such as the Hospital de Barcelona, the Moisés Broggi Hospital or the Consorci General Universitari de València.
